stenshorne wins f3 sprint in monaco after perfect start

Martinius Stenshorne won the first leg of the Formula 3 race in Monte Carlo by nailing his start from second place on the starting grid. Before the opening turn, the Hitech TGR driver made a perfect start and got in front of pole-sitter Alessandro Giusti. While Giusti was struggling to flee, Stenshorne made use of the situation and remained out in front through the entire race at the Monaco circuit.

Tuukka Taponen was unable to pass the Norwegian driver, leaving him in second place. In third place was Laurens van Hoepen, who got his very first podium result this season.

Although Giusti was on pole to start the race, he ended up in fourth for MP Motorsport. Tim Tramnitz from Monaco alongside Peppino finished fifth as the Dutch team struggled on the day.

Wurz and Câmara drove TRIDENT to sixth and seventh and Mari Boya finished eighth for Campos Racing in the race. Louis Sharp scored the ninth-strongest finish, with Callum Voisin rounding out the top positions in tenth.

The Formula 3 competitors will be back on track Sunday morning at 8:00 AM local time for the Feature Race.
