Younes Bendjima, a French-Algerian model, is the face of Farfetch, a British-Portuguese luxury fashion e-retailer new,’s Spring/Summer 2023 campaign.

Marcia Cross, a well-known American actress best known for playing Bree Van de Kamp in “Desperate Housewives,” joined Bendjima.

What is the idea of the campaign?

The campaign champions the notion that you should only dress for yourself and no one else.

In one scene, the cross is seen getting ready for herself and dancing contentedly by herself while wearing a red Ferragamo gown.

Younes is shown fully dressed and uttering the phrase “What can you lose when you’re doing you?” while wearing a black, sleeveless blazer by Jil Sander. The cross is seen saying, “I’m so tired of everyone else’s opinions, I can make my own choices,” wearing a coat with a leopard print by Dolce & Gabbana.

Younes is “such a kind soul with impeccable style,” according to Yannis Henrion, creative director of Farfetch, in a statement that It’s brilliant that you can depict opposing viewpoints, showcasing two outstanding individuals who enjoy expressing themselves through their sense of style and aesthetic.

Henrion continued, “We are so thrilled to team up with this unlikely pair of fashion icons for this new campaign. “Marcia is hailed as an icon for her self-assurance and fierce fashion… Since Marcia is just as iconic and fierce in real life as she is in her best on-screen roles, we wanted to give her the chance to demonstrate how her personal style looks.

Leighton Meester and Kim Cattrall were the faces of the online retailer’s previous advertising campaigns.
