The United States and Qatar have announced the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas. This deal is coming with a hope for Gaza Strip.

This ceasefire between Israel-Hamas is expected to begin on Sunday. The agreement includes a three-phase plan for releasing hostages. 

Phase 1, Hamas will release 33 women, children, elderly, and injured civilians. 

Phase 2: Israel releases hundreds of Palestinian women and children currently imprisoned. 

Phase 3 Soldiers and other male captives will return through negotiations.

This ceasefire is an important step in establishing peace and humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Because of this war over 1 million residents have been displaced from Gaza, and many other residents are facing difficulties in getting proper food, water, and basic needs. This ceasefire will help to prevent the destruction of homes and infrastructure.

After the announcement of the ceasefire global reaction started to come out from around the world. Japan has urged both sides to respect the ceasefire and appreciated the efforts of the US, Qatar, and Egypt for their efforts to establish the ceasefire. South Korea also commented and said this will bring peace to Gaza.
