Zelensky meets heads of international delegations at 'Support Ukraine' summit

President Volodymyr Zelensky today opened the ‘Support Ukraine’ summit, held as Russian troops marched into the neighbouring territory exactly three years ago. The event is being broadcast by the Office of the President of Ukraine.

Before the Summit started, Zelensky met heads of international delegations. The Summit is being attended by scores of participants, including experts and ambassadors. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen is one of the attendees.

European Union leaders are preparing to meet for an extraordinary Summit on March 6 to discuss additional support for Ukraine, European security guarantees and the bloc’s defence needs, officials said on Sunday.

The Summit comes as US President Donald Trump has started talks on ending the conflict in Ukraine. Russia is part of the discussions, but Ukraine and the EU are not, reported Reuters. Keep an eye out for more details.
