Israel Raises Alarm Over Egyptian Peace Treaty Violations

Israeli officials will speak with the US administration about Egyptian violations of their Sinai peace agreement policies. Based on Israeli spy agency findings Egypt conducts increased military activities in Sinai by building airbases in Refidim and El-Arish plus creating new defensive units along with weapon storage areas.
Seven secret passages exist beneath the Suez Canal while roadways across the empty Palestinian land were upgraded to become roads despite missing traffic. The security experts say Egypt now keeps military personnel in Sinai which is four times more numerous than the peace treaty allows.
Dr. Yechiel Leiter noted these issues as the first Israeli ambassador to the US while explaining that Israel finds new military bases designed for war. Israeli officials discuss these problems diplomatically with the US government to uphold the diplomatic agreements between their nations and the United States.
Top security officials point out that the current Egyptian leader el-Sisi prefers peace today because he prepares for later occasions when he can weaken Israel and bring Hamas under his control. The political world suspects Israel needs to learn how Egypt spotted the Hamas military move ahead of its attack on October 7th 2023.
