Morocco Crowned ‘Best Tourism Destination Partner 2025’ by Italian Travel Giant

Morocco earned ‘Best Tourism Destination Partner 2025’ from WTG Italy for its excellent travel industry performance. The WTG convention in Casablanca this weekend featured the successful presentation of this award which now connects Morocco and Italy better for tourism.
As the Director General of ONMT, Achraf Fayda received the WTG’s president recognition in front of 1500 Italian tourism industry leaders. The event united leaders from the tour and travel businesses with airline representatives and MICE agencies to develop new possibilities.
Through the WTG recognition, ONMT continues to showcase Morocco as a preferred vacation spot while demonstrating the unique experiences Morocco offers tourists. The award shows our success in creating new partnership connections with Italy’s important distribution systems.
The dedication to the Italian market has earned official recognition, according to Fayda from the convention. He announced that ONMT intends to bring four times more Italian tourists to Morocco than they did in 2024 with their 900,000 visitor milestone.
Morocco presented its tourist destinations to travel agencies who had not included Morocco in their business yet.
