Breaking News: Ceasefire Violations Continue on Israel-Lebanon Border

Israeli forces have reportedly violated the ceasefire agreement with Hezbollah for the second consecutive day citing threats to their units in southern Lebanon.

The Israeli military confirmed that a drone strike targeted a Hezbollah mid-range rocket storage facility in southern Lebanon. Meanwhile the Lebanese National News Agency reported injuries to two civilians after Israeli forces opened fire in the Markaba town square, Marjeyoun district.

Additional escalations include Israeli tank shelling in the towns of Kfar Shouba and Al-Wazzani in the Nabatieh region as well as artillery and drone activity in other parts of southern Lebanon. This comes after a US-French-brokered ceasefire was established earlier this week to end over 14 months of cross-border hostilities.

The situation remains tense, with further incidents reported as both sides accuse each other of provocations.
