Did Ancient Egyptians Use Water Power to Build Pyramids?

A ground breaking study indicates that the old Egyptians may have employed complex hydraulic systems rather than mud ramps to build the giant Step pyramid at Saqqara. Scientists examining satellite radar pictures found ancient waterways that may have driven hydraulic elevators to lift heavy limestone slabs for the monument, which is more than 4,650 years old.
The Step Pyramid built in the style of architect Imhotep for Pharaoh Djoser is about 200 feet skin high and occupies more than 11 million cubic feet of location calculated perfectly with limestone blocks.
This drastically innovative six layered construction symbolized Egypt’s first crucial stone monument, fifty years ahead of the Giza pyramids and triggering revolution in building in the region.
