FIFA World Cup 2022 Highlights: Information of Who, When & Where
Qatar-Qatar is going to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup from 21st November to 18th December. A total of 32 teams will participate in eight groups. England will take on Iran on the tournament’s opening day. Germany and Spain will play as a group team.
When and Where Is the Fifa World Cup 2022?
1) First Match
The Fifa World Cup 2022 in Qatar kicks off on 21st November (Monday). In Group A, Senegal will face the Netherlands at the Al Thumama Stadium.
2) Second Match
Qatar (the host) will then play Ecuador at Al Bayt Stadium. The match between England and Iran in Group B will also take place on the opening day. It will be held only 8 days after the Premier League closes its doors.
3) Final Match
If Wales or Scotland made it to the finals via the playoffs. On Tuesday, November 29, they will meet England in Group B. Lusail Stadium in Doha will host the final. It will be one week before Christmas, on Sunday, December 18th.
