Generation Beta: Latest demographic population to make grand entrance in 2025
Starting January 1, 2025, Generation Beta is set to make its grand entrance into planet Earth. This latest demographic population is going to comprise children born in the period from 2025 to 2039 – constituting 16% of the global population by 2035.
Generation Beta is the successor of Gen Alpha (2010-2024). Gen Z (1996-2010) and millenials (1981-1996) came earlier. The ‘Beta babies’ are going to be part of an era that is characterised by unprecedented technological integration into daily life.
Technology is going to be at the fingertips of Generation Beta. But these people are also going to inherit a societal landscape that has different challenges such as climate change, organisation and shifts in global population dynamics.
Gen Z and Gen Alpha are more eco-conscious than Millenials. It appears Generation Beta is going to make sustainability not just a term for the dictionary but a fundamental expectation. But they could see social connection becoming more and more scarce.
