Hamas Commends Egypt, Jordan for Opposing Trump’s Gaza Displacement Proposal

The Gaza leaders from Hamas organization expressed gratitude to Egypt as well as Jordan after they rejected former US President Donald Trump‘s plan to relocate Gaza residents into their territories. The administrator’s remarks on Saturday led to rapid diplomatic reactions after he proposed that Gaza’s border nations should take in additional Palestinian refugees to remove Gaza’s population.
Foreign Ministers Ayman Safadi of Jordan and Badr Abdelatty of Egypt both denounced former US President Donald Trump’s plan as Safadi affirmed Jordan’s refusal to move Palestinians while Abdelatty warned about rising region-wide tensions. Hamas spokesperson Abdel Latif al-Qanua declared Palestinians will maintain their homeland root by asserting war attempts have failed and displacement measures would yield no better results.
International organizations including the Arab League and Organization of Islamic Cooperation received a Palestinian call to bolster their defense against forced Palestinian relocation. The Palestinian organization Hamas emphasized that these propositions match with what it calls the “Zionist plans” while demanding the American government stop submitting ideas that oppose Palestinian sovereignty rights.
