Indian MPs Visit Kuwait to Reinforce Anti-Terror Message

The Indian officials visiting Kuwait on Monday focused on expressing India’s commitment to fighting terrorism. They met in Bahrain the last time, arranged by Bharatiya Janata Party Member of Parliament Baijayant Jay Panda. The Indian Embassy announced that the delegation had come to express India’s intense opposition to terrorism. Ambassador Adarsh Swaika welcomed the parliamentary team as they arrived at Kuwait International Airport.

Prominent Political Leaders Join Mission

Important political figures from different parties are part of the delegation. The organization is led by All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen chief Asaduddin Owaisi and includes former Union Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad. Former National Commission for Women chairperson Rajya Sabha MP Rekha Sharma is also on the team. The group now includes Harsh Vardhan Shringla, an experienced diplomat who served as ambassador to Bangladesh, Thailand and previously led India’s foreign affairs.

Strategic Engagements Planned

As part of their trip, the parliamentary delegation will talk to top Kuwaiti government figures. They plan to meet with civil society representatives, VIPs, think tank specialists, and journalists to improve how the two sides cooperate in battling terrorism.
