IndiGo to operate daily flights between Mumbai & Bahrain
Bahrain–Beginning on August 1, 2022, daily flights from Mumbai to the Gulf island nation will be offered by the private airline IndiGo, which announced Bahrain on July 6 as its 25th foreign flight destination.
Every day at 10:15 PM (IST), flight 6E 1403 from Mumbai will depart for Bahrain, arriving at 11:35 PM (IST) (local time). Flight 6E 1404, which connects Bahrain with Mumbai, will start flying on August 2. It will leave Bahrain at 1:00 a.m. local time and land in the capital of Maharashtra at 7:20 a.m. (IST).
According to Sanjay Kumar, chief strategy and revenue officer at IndiGo, “these new flights will improve global connectivity and support trade, commerce, and tourism between India and Bahrain, which is renowned for its legacy of pearl diving and trading.”

Following the start of the COVID-19 epidemic, Bahrain will be the airline’s first overseas addition to its 6E network.
According to a press statement from IndiGo, the new flights are intended for “business and leisure travellers who are continuously on the search for new and economical flying options” to reach locations that support the growth of businesses and are well-known for their tourism attractions.
The Royal Camel Farm, the island of Pearls, the Twin Towers of the Bahrain Trade Center, the capital city of Manama, Zalaq, and the wildlife reserve at Al Areen, among other places, are projected to see an increase in tourists as a result of the direct connectivity to Bahrain.
