Jeddah Season Creates 74,000 Jobs For Saudi Youth, Says Organiser

Saudi arabia– The Jeddah Season 2022 had created more than 74,000 jobs for young people in Saudi Arabia, according to a leading entertainment executive of the Kingdom.
Nawaf Qumosani, director-general of Jeddah Season 2022, announced the news while praising the future of the entertainment industry in the country. He said that the Jeddah season of 2022 had contributed to improving the quality of life in the community, attracting investments, and achieving economic returns.
Job opportunities for youth
During Qumosani’s meeting with media representatives at the Jeddah Media Center on Sunday, he said that the season increased job opportunities for young people across the country. He further said that Jeddah Season had created an effective economic and cultural movement within society.
He added that the season created more than 74,000 jobs for Saudi citizens. Both males and females participated in the season. According to media reports, around 80 per cent of the jobs during the season were run by youths.
Jeddah Season 2022
The director-general said that more than 36 shows and events were held for the first time in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and at least six of those events were the first of their kind in the world.
The season reportedly featured 60 days of fireworks, 60 entertainment games, 70 interactive experiences, 4 international exhibitions, 8 international concerts, 20 Arab concerts, and 7 Arab plays.
Under the slogan “Our lovely days,” the Jeddah Season 2022 has offered a packed schedule of 2,800 events. The Jeddah Jungle Zone has featured the Kingdom’s biggest zoo.
The season also contributed to promoting the localisation of more than 14 professions to increase job opportunities for Saudi men and women.
Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia and Egypt have signed 14 investment deals valued at $7.7 billion. The deal covers a wide range of sectors, including renewable energy, pharmaceuticals, information technology, e-commerce, healthcare, infrastructure and cybersecurity.
