Following American Idol, Jessica Sanchez released her first album called Me, You and the Music in 2013. This was accompanied by a Christmas EP in 2015. Being already 29 years old, Jessica Sanchez comes back to the American Got Talent, participating in the auditions episode held on July 15, 2025, on Season 20. The comeback happens to be a case of a full-circle moment for the singer who was on the show 19 years ago.Jessica Sanchez has confessed that her thoughts towards music have been totally transformed after American Idol. According to her, she said in an interview with the San Diego Union Tribune, that singing was like a chore at that time. “I am now in a scenario where I feel blessed to have an opportunity to do something with music.” She even confesses that she “lost some love in musicbecause of the pressures and demands of the business, especially being a Filipino woman in the industry of entertainment industry.”
