The Nova 2026 Benghazi event has commenced today, on October 5, 2026, Libya oil and gas sector, which is a key event for the oil and gas sector of Libya. The event is organized by the National Oil Corporation (NOC) and the Petroleum Research Centre, and it is aimed at attracting foreign investments in the energy sector of Libya.

Earlier today, numerous international delegations arrived at the Expo Libya Fairgrounds. This event sees the Libya-UK Alliance (LUKA) as its special outreach partner, which targets businesses based in Britain and helps them to regain their positions in the North African market.
What We Know So Far
The event lasts for three days from today to October 7, and according to official sources, 18 technical workshops are scheduled during this time, which will tackle a variety of topics including new sedimentary basins, artificial intelligence, and redevelopment of mature field.
Today the participants from Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO) and other state-owned companies are expected to be engaged in a discussion regarding the restoration of the production capacity.
