President Sisi delegates Cairo Governor for the Mid-Sha’aban Night

‘The Night of Forgiveness’ which is also known as ‘Shab-e-Barat’ is observed and celebrated by the Islamic community across the world on the 15th night of Sha’ban, to celebrate this auspicious day President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, has delegated Dr.Ibrahim Saber, the Governor of Cairo and to attend the official celebration which scheduled by the Ministry of Endowments on the night of the middle of Shaaban on Feb 13,2025, at the Grand Mosque of Egypt and its Cultural & Islamic Center in the new administrative capital.

In Egypt, Mid Sha’ban stands for special importance and the night is marked by various religious activities. Traditionally, the followers will engage in prayers, following that recitation of the holy Quran and supplications seeking forgiveness, blessings will occur. Across the country, all the mosques will host such special events and it is common for every individual to spend their time in worship. All these celebrations are officially organized by the Ministry of Endowments.
