Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse celebrate Met Gala in coordinating looks

They appeared so much in love that night!
Batman actor Robert Pattinson and Daisy Jones & the Six actress and musician Suki Waterhouse stepped out in style Monday night in New York City for their Met Gala debut as a couple. The typically low-key couple have been together for nearly five years.
Neither of the actors has attended the Met Gala since they first sparked relationship rumors back in 2018 in London. While Pattinson was last seen in ‘fashion’s biggest night out’ in 2016, Waterhouse’s first and only appearance before Monday night was in 2014.
The British couple have preferred keeping much of their relationship private, making only a handful of public appearances together. They made their red-carpet debut at the Dior Men Fall 2023 show in Egypt last December.
For this year’s Met Gala, Waterhouse wore a transparent floral dress from Fendi’s Women’s spring/summer 2019 collection. Interestingly, Fendi is one of the labels once led by German fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, who passed away in 2019.
Met Gala 2023 revolved around the late fashion icon, organised on the theme of ‘Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty’. It is an annual invitation-only fundraising event held for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in Manhattan.
On the other hand, Pattinson was seen yesterday in a brooch-adorned black Dior Men suit with a sweeping pleated skirt and trousers. For his Met Gala debut in 2015, the star was seen in an all-black tux paired with an elegant bowtie design. He went for a white jacket with black pants and a black bowtie the following year.
