The UEFA Nations League comes after the successful UEFA EURO Cup which saw Spain emerge as champions. It’s played by national teams of the member associations of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA).
The UEFA Nations League 2024-25 league phase will be held from September to November 2024, and the latter phases in March 2025. France and Italy, both are teams of A Group 2, and are set for the first match on September 6.
Both teams are favorites, but France is expected to reign 2-1 against Italy. The French players are stronger than ever, and have a renewed energy to win the UEFA Nations League. Italy is also empowered by the rage of losing the EURO Cup title in 2024 it had won in 2020 against England. France and Italy are both looking at grabbing the Nations League title 2024-25.

Will Kylian Mbappe Play For France Against Italy UEFA Nations League
Kylian Mbappe, French captain, had suffered a setback in EURO Cup because of a broken nose. This time around, he will surely be determined to make amends. Mbappe, 25, said things are going great with Real Madrid having won a trophy, and now his focus is on France’s national team.

He told a press conference that his nose is much better that what it was at the European Championship. Moreover, the star footballer is in great form, physically and mentally. Mbappe said all the matches for France in the Nations League are important. Besides Italy, France will face Belgium and Israel.
France vs. Italy will take place at the Parc des Princes in Paris.
