However her role in the movie “The Grandson”, which is considered one of the most famous Egyptian cinematic films, was a milestone in her artistic career, as she proved her great ability to perform the mother’s character by playing the role of a young mother of seven children.

The able Egyptian actress, Karima Mukhtar, has a large number of roles in many of the most famous Egyptian films, such as “Prince of My Love Ana”, in which she played the role of the heroine’s mother, Souad Hosni, and the devil preaches.

The artist, who passed away in January 2017, continued to play the role of the mother in many Egyptian films and TV series until her late life.

Her roles that have always been well received by viewers, such as her role in the movie “Al-Farah” and the role of “Mama Nouna” in the famous Egyptian series “Yetrbi”. In Attribute” starring the artist Yehia El-Fakharani.

Karima Mokhtar won the Best Actress Award at the Cairo Arab Media Festival in 2007, and the Oran Arab Film Festival in its tenth session in 2017 honored the name of the late great artist Karima Mokhtar, due to her wonderful dramatic works and cinematic films that will remain in the memory of history.
