Shervin Hajipour’s voice can now be heard in the title track of the animated film Dolphin Boy 2. Mohammad Khairandish, the director of the film, recently shared why Hajipour was chosen for the musical pieces of the movie.
In an interview with Khorasan Newspaper, Khairandish explained that Hajipour’s music style perfectly matched the themes of the film, such as “hope” and “vigor.” The director also praised Hooman Namdari for his excellent arrangements, which, along with Hajipour’s voice, created a piece that captured the uplifting spirit of the film.
The director said that the musical style of Hajipour is seamlessly blended with the positive messages. He also said that this can change his perception of music, and potentially it can lead to new works with a happier, more upbeat tone.
The film which has already won the Crystal Simorgh for Best Animated Film at the Fajr Film Festival is currently showing in Iranian cinemas. It has been warmly received by both audiences and critics, with the music playing a key role in its success.
