Jeddah Compensation Delivery Begins For Demolished Real Estate
Saudi arabia– The Informal Neighborhoods Committee in Jeddah has begun handing over the first batch of compensation for the removed properties.
Amounting to one billion riyals, as an extension of the services and initiatives provided by the government system to the owners of the removed properties.
The incident happened in the presence of the Governor of the State Real Estate General Authority Ihsan Bafaqih, and the Mayor of Jeddah Saleh Al-Turki.
The committee confirmed that the compensation for the rest of the citizens will be disbursed in succession in several stages, according to a timetable, after the completion of the work of listing and evaluating real estate, and the completion of the procedures and the completion of the required documents.
The committee explained that the compensation is an extension of the efforts and initiatives made by government sectors. It was with the aim of reorganizing slums and enhancing the quality of life in them, indicating that real estate appraisal work was carried out through independent committees comprising 6 members from 4 government agencies.
