What to expect at Apple’s big iPhone 15 event on Sept 12

Apple has chosen September 12 for a press event at its headquarters in California, where the company is likely to reveal the highly-anticipated iPhone 15 series.
The invitation bears the Apple logo in grey, blue and black, possibly pointing toward the colour options. The high-end iPhone 15 Pro Max is expected to be the star of the presentation.
In addition, the event in Cupertino could also introduce the Apple Watch Series 9 with marginal upgrades and an enhanced AirPods Pro Gen 2 with a USB Type-C charging port.
What To Expect At Apple’s “Wonderlust” Event
The company has sent out a special invite to select analysts and media to join the presentation in person. It will commence at 10 am Pacific Time and will also be live-streamed on YouTube.
The star of the event will undoubtedly be the new iPhone 15 lineup. Apple could announce four models this year as well – the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Just like their predecessors, the iPhone 15 and 15 plus are reported to offer a 60Hz refresh rate. They will be the baseline models, with a 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch display, respectively.
These models are likely to offer 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. In addition, the dual-camera system could also receive some major upgrades.
While the coveted lineup is expected to go on sale starting September 22, some models could be delayed until October due to excess demand and supply chain constraints.

As has become sort of an annual tradition, Apple consistently utilises its event in September to introduce the world to its latest iPhone iterations, and 2023 doesn’t appear to be an exception.
The company is also potentially preparing to present a trio of novel smartwatches during its September 12 event, as per insights shared by Bloomberg’s Mark Gruman.
While the minute details remain veiled in secrecy, the Apple Watch Series 9 is likely to feature incremental modifications, implying subtle upgrades rather than groundbreaking changes.
