El-Sisi Joins BRICS Summit, Calls for Effective Financing for Developing Countries

On Wednesday, once the BRICS summit started reactions from the different corner of the world started emerging. Western powers are keeping eyes on it. They are seeing BRICS summit as a competitor of west.
In between emerging reaction, a reaction came from Egyptian President Abdelfattah El-Sisi from the BRICS. He praised BRICS+, he also appreciated the expanded membership during the flagship summit of BRICS.
President Abdelfattah El-Sisi praised it by saying it “the voice and interests” of developing countries.
This year Egypt took part in 16th BRICS summit. Speaking at the flagship summit for the first time since Egypt joined earlier this year, El-Sisi stated that the organization is poised to “enhance a multipolar international system,” with a focus on providing “innovative and effective” financing solutions for developing countries.
The Arab Weekly reported that during the meeting Putin said for Egypt a long-term and reliable partner of Russia” and said “Egypt accounts for about a third of all trade turnover between Russia and Africa”, according to Russian media.
