Beast Games Season 1 has a champion. Jeff (Player 831) recently took home an unprecedented $10 million prize. The reality competition – hosted by Jimmy Donaldson aka MrBeast – featured 1,000 contestants battling for the largest cash prize in TV history.
In the final challenge, Jeff had to pick the correct briefcase out of 10. His opponent had strategically arranged the briefcases. Jeff relied on his intuition and correctly chose the right one – briefcase no 6, securing the grand prize.
The runner-up took home a consolation prize of $100,000. Inspired by Squid Game – a popular K-drama on Netflix, Beast Games featured intense physical, mental and strategic challenges. You could find self-sacrifice tasks, betrayals and a lot of eliminations.
Despite its success, Beast Games Season 1 also faced a lot of controversies. Some former contestants alleged harsh filming conditions and mistreatment. MrBeast has hinted at a potential Season 2 of the reality competition, reported Tribune.
