New Turkish Series “1001 Nights”: Release Schedule Revealed
For fans of Turkish dramas, 1001 Nights, you have something to look forward to. One Thousand and One Nights (Binbir Gece Masalları) is set to go live in October 2025. Developed by the TRT Tabii platform, this forthcoming original series combines timeless storytelling with contemporary cinematic allure.
From Novel to Screen: A New Spin
The show is inspired by the world-famous book, One Thousand and One Nights, which tells the tale of Shahryar (Ibrahim Celikkol) and Scheherazade (Cansu Dere), who tell stories every night to save her life.
The filming took place in breathtaking historic locales, namely around Riva, using palaces and historical sites to bring the enchanted world to life.
Three Seasons, Thirty Episodes
The series is set to run for three seasons, with 10 episodes in each season. The series is directed by Metin Günay and written by Atilla Engin, with the ambition to recreate the emotional intensity and mystery of traditional tales into a new style of narrative drama.
What’s the Storyline
At the heart of the story is the notion that Scheherazade tells a story to Shahryar each night to survive another night. Hence, the stories progress into an exciting emotional landscape which has psychological dimensions, inner transformations for the characters, as well as a relationship focused on themes of hope, trust, and betrayal.
When and Where to see it
SBI Sialia says the series will be officially released at some point in October 2025 on the TRT Tabii platform. It is one of Turkey’s premier TV shows this fall lineup, and there are hopes this drama achieves popular success in the international market.
