Nissan Reports 13% Sales Surge in the Middle East
Nissan’s sales in the Middle East increased by a remarkable 13% year over year (YoY) during the first half of fiscal year 2024 (April to September).
The exclusive distributor of Nissan automobiles in Bahrain, Y K Almoayyed and Sons (YKA), expressed satisfaction with Nissan’s dedication to provide an exceptional customer experience by means of a varied lineup of vehicles, a fully integrated digital customer journey, and a strong dealer network.
With over half of the overall sales, Nissan’s SUV lineup played a significant role in this achievement. In the same time frame, sales of the Pathfinder almost doubled, the X-Trail experienced a 20 percent YoY jump, and the Kicks saw a 71 percent increase.
Furthermore, with an 11 percent increase, the Nissan Sunny continued to be the best-selling brand model in the area.
By offering a completely integrated digital journey that streamlines and enhances the purchasing process, Nissan also sought to improve customer experiences in the area. Customers gain from a new “phygital” strategy that seamlessly connects the online and offline showroom experience, from online car purchases to service requests.
Due to the impressive outcomes of this technique, 40 percent of car sales currently come from digital leads.
Through the Nissan Retail Concept (NRC) which emphasizes the creation of hospitable, customer-focused places that conform to Nissan’s international retail standards, Nissan’s emphasis on enhancing customer experiences also extends to its physical spaces.
Nissan has celebrated a number of milestones in the first half of Fiscal Year 2024 demonstrating its dedication to expansion and innovation throughout the Middle East. Customers have already responded well to the introduction of the brand-new Nissan Patrol, the first of five new SUVs planned as part of The Arc business plan. The brand’s regional presence is reinforced by its development into important rising markets such as in Iraq and Oman.
