The Crown Prince and the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, has told Fox News that the Saudi-Israel normalization deal is getting “closer.”
Can the deal be beneficial for the two countries? Can the two countries resolve Palestinian issue?
It is important to note that the ministers from the two Middle East nations and the United States have been negotiating to finalize the normalization deal. United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken has also hailed diplomatic relations between the Kingdom and Israel a “national security interest.”
Saudi Arabia ‘getting closer’ to normalize relations with Israel: Crown Prince
Recently, in an interview with Fox News, the Saudi leader said that the talks with Israel on the normalization deal were getting “closer every day.” However, the Saudi Crown Prince also reiterated that resolving Palestinian problems was also important.

Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud said, “For us, the Palestinian issue is very important. We need to solve that part.” He further added that the negotiations on the deal to normalize relations with Israel had been good, saying “every day, we get closer.”
Is the deal beneficial?
Notably, the United States has been requesting both Middle East nations to normalize ties. Saudi Arabia is reportedly seeking to finalize a defense deal with the US officials in order to establish a normalization deal with Israel.
Saudi Arabia also wants help from the officials in the United States in order to develop the Saudi civilian nuclear programme. John Kirby of White House has hailed the normalization deal between both Middle East nations.
On Thursday, the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed hope that the historic deal can be reached soon. Eli Cohen, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, also said, “The gaps can be bridged.”
