On Presidents Day this year, the NYSE and Nasdaq are not trading. February 17, 2025, is a federal banking holiday. Therefore, most of the brick-and-mortar branches of banks are closed. TD Bank branches, on the other hand, are open.
Retail options
Most big box retailers and grocery stores are open on Presidents Day. Target, Kroger, Costco and many other entities are open. This annual day is also one of the busiest periods for restaurants. But make sure to check the operating hours of local retailers.
