Pakistan Pakistan-The new Cabinet of Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif took the oath of office on Tuesday, a week after incumbent Imran Khan was removed by an opposition-led parliamentary vote of no confidence, knocking down his approximately 4-years government.

At a live-streamed ceremony, Acting President Sadiq Sanjrani swore in the 37 ministers and advisers, with Sharif & other members of his Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Party (PML-N) in presence.

Sharif, who was elected as Khan’s successor by the National Assembly on April 11, has created a coalition government of many parties, with his longtime political rival, the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), as the second largest partner.

The PML-N, which has been in power for almost four years, has 16 members in the Cabinet, while the PPP has 11. The rest are coalition members who are part of a smaller group.
