In a major update, ChatGPT has become more accessible through a dedicated phone line: 1-800-242-8478. By dialing the US number, users can easily access the chatbot through familiar communication channels.
It is an easier and more affordable process to explore the artificial intelligence assistant. Initially, users are going to get 15 minutes of free usage per month. Besides the dedicated phone line, users can also message via WhatsApp.
Calls to the 1-800-ChatGPT number do not require an account. It has also been established by the company that the phone calls are not going to be used to train the chatbot. The tool is meant to offer a simplified version of ChatGPT compared to its traditional platform.

The company has recommended that people requiring more advanced features, higher usage limits and personalisation options should continue using their regular ChatGPT accounts via traditional methods. Only users in the US can currently access the feature.
