Cristiano Ronaldo, a famous footballer who plays as a forward for both Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr and the Portugal national team, is in the spotlight as Al-Nassr qualifies for the AFC Champions League. 

Cristiano Ronaldo was spotted screaming into a referee’s face during the AFC Champions League Playoffs last night. He was frustrated because his team Al Nassr fell 1-2 behind after the first half of the match. He expressed frustration after his team was denied multiple penalty opportunities. The footballer also shouted at the camera, saying “wake up” at the officials. Cristiano Ronaldo, who is also a captain of Al Nassr, shoved a man who wanted to click a selfie with him. 

However, his team Al Nassr won 4-2 because they managed to score three late goals, including two in stoppage time. Marcelo Brozovic, who plays as a defensive midfielder for Al Nassr, scored in the 97th minute. Cristiano Ronaldo provided a late assist to Marcelo Brozovic.

Al Nassr is one of four clubs of Saudi Arabia along with Al Hilal, Al Ahli and Al Ittihad. The four Saudi football clubs were also taken under the ownership of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund.
