Egypt Partners with French Rail Giant Alstom to Establish Major Railway Manufacturing Hub

Egypt Partners with French Rail Giant Alstom, the top French railway expert Egypt advanced its road modernization efforts. During his Egyptian visit Emmanuel Macron sealed the agreement to build an entire railway factory system that will streamline product making and boost export capabilities.
The General Authority for Land and Dry Ports of Egypt approved 40 feddan (42 acre) land grant for creating the advanced production facility. Multiple successful relations between Egypt and the French Development Agency (AFD) produced the newest project. Deputy Prime Minister Kamel El-Wazir views this project as a way to fulfill transportation needs while making Egypt a leader in regional manufacturing.
Through business partnerships Egyptian authorities link technological breakthroughs with new job openings to develop industry. The project helps Egypt develop its railway systems and stops needing foreign trains for its needs. Alstom assists the government by supporting its plans to expand transportation facilities across the country.
