Fixed Monthly Support for Informal Workers in Egypt: How to register and receive concessions?

The Ministry of Labour has introduced six annual grants for informal workers and each grant will amount to EGP 1,000 per worker. Based on the given data by the Ministry the beneficiaries who have registered under this initiative are 1,164,012. The aim of this grant is to provide the support to all the informal workers for a secured and safe livelihood. Early this year it was officially announced by the government that there will be a change in the value of the grant from EGP 500 to EGP 1000.
How to Register?
- Visit the official website to register – https://www.manpower.gov.eg/
- Then fill out the registration form with all the required information – full name, national ID number, phone number, and type of work.
- Then upload a photocopy of a valid national ID card and a certificate to prove the nature of the informal work you have been involved in.
- Once you fill out the data you can submit the application.
- Then the relevant committees will review the applications and verify their validity.
- And the selected applicants will be contacted to complete the final procedures.
- Finally, you will receive the regular monthly support.
