French-Malian Suspect Arrested in Tangier by Moroccan Police

Moroccan law enforcement agents made a serious arrest during a strategic raid in Tangier yesterday when they caught a 40-year-old man living with fake documents. Police from both local units and DGST employed thorough joint methods when they matched the suspect’s details to Interpol’s global criminal records.
Security agents learned that the arrestee works with a criminal group that committed multiple dangerous crimes like attempts to shoot people, extort money and use illegal weapons. French authorities requested the arrest because Morocco actively tackles international criminal activities. Moroccan police have taken the suspect into custody while transferring ownership of the arrest details to French law enforcement officials.
Morocco conducts these operations to strengthen its role in global law enforcement. On March 22 Moroccan police caught and detained a South American Swedish national to arrest them for drug crimes. Morocco shows its major security contributions to the world through its position as Interpol’s vice president which leads to ongoing global admiration.
