Hostage Soldiers Return: Liri, Naama, Daniella, and Karina Reunite with Families After 477 Days

Four Israeli soldiers Karina Ariev, Daniella Gilboa, Naama Levy, and Liri Albag have been released and handed over to  Red Cross. The came back home after 477 days in Hamas captivity.

Hamas handed all these 4- soldiers over to the Red Cross. And Red cross transferred them to the care of IDF troops in the Gaza Strip. This is a big relife for the families who were waiting for the homecoming!  

IDF shared an video on official X account and wrote a caption, “The moment when tears of sadness turned into tears of joy as the released hostages’ families saw their loved ones finally coming back home.”

The soldiers will be moved to a facility near the border for medical checkups. They are expected to reunite with their parents who are waiting eagerly on the border. Videos are trening on the internet how families are happy and excited with this news. 

These soldiers were members of the surveillance unit of IDF. They were kidnapped by Hamas terrorists during the October 7, 2023, attack at the Nahal Oz post. 

In a post on X, IDF stated, “Liri, Daniella, Naama and Karina Are Home.”
