Jordan Gaming Lab hosts conferences on video game development

A free video game development event was presented by the King Abdullah II Fund for a Development project, the Jordan Gaming Lab, in a number of cities around the nation. The weekend saw the two-day Global Game Jam at the lab’s locations in Amman, Zarqa, and Aqaba.

A video game had to be made by the contestants based on a theme that was unveiled during the event’s opening ceremony. There were sixteen games created and posted on the GGJ website.

The challenge’s objective was to provide participants with practical experience using cutting-edge technology while utilising the assistance and counsel of seasoned game designers from around the world.

In order to grow the nation’s video game business and give individuals who are interested in joining it networking possibilities, the Jordan Gaming Lab was established in 2011.
