Macron Celebrates Morocco as Paris Book Festival Guest of Honor

French President Emmanuel Macron inspected the Moroccan Pavilion at Paris Book Festival 2025 on Thursday as Morocco held its official position as Guest of Honor. The national pavilion tour started with Mohammed Mehdi Bensaid the Culture Minister and Moroccan Ambassador Samira Sitail. Director Latifa Moftaqir joined them later. The President looked through multiple displays at the pavilion such as historical records, environmental knowledge and a substantial Moroccan literature set.
Minister Bensaid began his speech with deep feelings as he expressed the important bond between Morocco and France through the festival. Morocco will organize its first book fair next month when the 30th International Book and Publishing Fair opens April 18 to 27 in Rabat.
