US President Donald Trump announced that Michel Issa will be the new US ambassador to Lebanon.
Speaking on his official account on Truth Social, Trump said, “Michel is an outstanding businessman, a financial expert, and a leader with a remarkable career in Banking, Entrepreneurship, and International Trade”.
This appointment is an indication that US is looking forward to strengthening its diplomatic ties in the Middle East. Lebanon is an important partner for establishing stability and economic growth in the region of Middle East. It can go on a positive direction and US- Lebanon relation can be flourish in coming days.
