Morocco Commits to Boosting Kenyan Tea, Coffee Purchases

Morocco has decided to increase its tea and coffee imports from Kenya, which represents a big step forward in the trade. The news came about following crucial talks in Rabat between Kenya’s Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi and Morocco’s Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch. Both leaders wanted to develop stronger links between their countries in different economic areas.
The PM Akhannouch pointed out that Moroccan markets would pay particular attention to receiving Kenyan tea and coffee shipments. With this growth, the agricultural sector in Kenya will be able to exploit new markets because these crops are the main products of its exports.

They focused on creating brand new frameworks for global cooperation in trade, tourism, farming, industry, and education. According to Mudavadi, negotiations will start right away to boost Kenya’s sales of goods and services in Morocco.
