New Conditions from Israel Slow Gaza Ceasefire Efforts-Hamas Blames
On Wednesday Hamas announced that Israel has introduced new conditions, which will cause delays in reaching a ceasefire agreement for Gaza.
Hamas said that even though there have been problems and delays. But they are willing to adjust and make changes to keep the talks going. According to the report by local news agencies Hamas said, The talks mediated by Qatar and Egypt, are reportedly progressing seriously and constructively.
According to the Times of Israel, Hamas says the talks are “proceeding seriously in Doha with Qatari and Egyptian mediation” and that the terror group “has shown responsibility and flexibility.”
Both sides remain under international scrutiny as efforts to halt the conflict continue.
The war between Hamas and Israel began on October 7, 2023. Hamas attacked southern Israel, killing around 1,200 people and taking 251 hostages to Gaza.
