Starting May 2025: These Phones Will No Longer Run WhatsApp

WhatsApp is one of the highly-used messaging applications which has its users across the globe for its safer and quick service for both the Android and iOS users. But a significant move has been made by WhatsApp that their application stops supporting a certain range of older smartphones, which is scheduled to come into effect commencing from May 2025. This is a part of WhatsApp to improve the features and ensure the optimal performance, also devices that are running outdated OS will no longer be compatible with the application.
Which users will no longer benefit?
- iPhone 5s
- iPhone 6
- iPhone 6 Plus
- All the devices that are running iOS 15.1 or earlier
- Samsung: Galaxy S3, Note 2, Ace 3, S4 mini
- Motorola: Moto G (1st Gen), Razr HD, Moto E (2014 edition)
