Two US aircraft carriers to deter Iran.

A senior US military commander said in a statement that the US military has two aircraft carriers operating in the Middle East, marking the first dual extended use of carriers in the region in years and specifically since 2012.
The statement added that the two aircraft carriers currently operating in the region are the USS Dwight Eisenhower aircraft carrier and Harry Truman aircraft carrier. “We will keep them for a while,” General Frank McKenzie told a Pentagon news conference.
McKinsey, the head of the US Central Command, added that he would “warn Iran and its proxies against trying to respond or take a move that would jeopardize US and coalition forces or our partners.”
He stressed that his leadership “is in a good position to defend our forces throughout the region and respond to any other aggression against our forces,” the Defense Minister granted the presence of two aircraft carriers to support the Central Command’s tasks.
According to the statement, the aircraft carriers possess huge attack capabilities, and they have immense defensive capabilities, and a huge ability to move.
In late December, Hezbollah, an Iranian-backed militia group in Iraq, launched a missile attack on a coalition base, killing an American civilian contractor. The United States responded with air strikes, which resulted in a violent attack on the US embassy in Baghdad.
Then the United States responded by killing the Qods Force commander, Qassem Soleimani, in a drone attack, a move that pushed the United States and Iran to the brink of war and prompted the Iranian regime to launch a barrage of ballistic missiles at Ain Al-Sadd (Iraq)base in which Iraqi and coalition forces are present.
Hizbullah launched a deadly missile attack on the Taji camp on Wednesday, killing three coalition personnel, British Army Corporal Brody Gillon, US Army Soldier Juan Miguel Mendes , and US Air Force Sergeant Marshal Dr. Roberts. At least 12 others were wounded in the attack.
A statement by the Pentagon said that the United States retaliated Thursday and launched precise strikes against militia facilities throughout Iraq. Defense Minister Mark Esper warned before the strikes that “You cannot shoot at our bases, kill and injure Americans, and flee.” And McKinsey warned that the threat from Iran and its proxies remains high.
