Riyadh: Packed Gamers8 crowd enjoys musical master class
Saudi arabia–On Thursday night in Riyadh Boulevard City, Gamers8’s fourth week began with a jam-packed lineup of performances including Afrojack, R3HAB, Wizkid, Dafencii, and Afroto.
The NXT LVL arena at Gamers8 was packed with people eager to see back-to-back performances by some of the best DJs in the world as well as local favorites.
Thursday night’s performance by the soulful Sudanese rapper Dafencii, who made his music industry debut with the single “Rksha,” was a terrific start.
Afroto, a crowd favorite from Egypt, performed a hit-filled show that was capped off by a unique version of “Msh Bel 7ozoz,” much to the delight of the enthusiastic crowd.

Wizkid, a widely respected singer-songwriter, performed as the event’s headlining act. The Nigerian, who was making his debut in the Kingdom, said, “Saudi Arabia, make some noise, baby!” while wearing diamonds.
The show, according to audience member Rayan Mal, was considerably better than he had anticipated. “Being so energized to start the weekend is amazing. I came for DJ R3HAB, and he didn’t let me down,” he claimed. The show’s two closing acts, multi-platinum DJ R3HAB and headlining act Afrojack, had the audience singing along to their favourite remixed songs.
The musician, whose real name is Fadil El-Ghoul, thanked Arab News for having him and said, “It’s fantastic, I always use your website to remain updated on what’s going on in Saudi Arabia, and I will see you very soon in MDLBEAST.”
DJs, rappers, and singers from the Arab world, Europe, and the US, including Lil Pump, Nancy Ajram, Hamaki, Disco Misr, Alan Walker, Russ, DJ Snake, and Balqees, will perform at Gamers8’s next concert.
For the eight-week event, the Gamers8 festival is bringing top international musicians to Riyadh. Every weekend, musicians play for viewers and participants. It has arrived in the city thanks to the Saudi Esports Federation.
