Saudi Arabia and Kazakhstan to boost trade, investment
Saudi arabia– According to a joint statement published by the Saudi Press Agency on Sunday, Saudi Arabia and Kazakhstan plan to increase their bilateral trade and investment in a number of industries.
Petrochemicals, renewable energy, mining, agriculture, tourism, transportation, and logistics are all included in this collaboration. According to SPA, other agreements deal with space, financial services, information technology, and digital transformation.
The declaration comes in the wake of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan’s visit, who had extensive discussions with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Despite the difficulties brought on by the COVID-19 outbreak, Tokayev complimented Saudi Arabia on Sunday for organizing the Hajj and Umrah seasons smoothly, according to the SPA.

Regarding climate change, they decided to adhere to the tenets of the Paris Agreement and the Framework Convention on Climate Change and to concentrate on lowering emissions.
The Green Saudi Arabia and Green Middle East projects of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as Kazakhstan’s Green Bridge Partnership Program, were both funded.Regarding energy, the OPEC+ countries’ attempts to control the world oil market were praised. They argued that all participating nations should uphold the OPEC+ accords in order to help producers, consumers, and global economic expansion.
The two countries’ safety and sovereignty were discussed at the political, defensive, and security levels. On the basis of the Gulf Initiative, the Yemeni National Dialogue, and UN Security Council Resolution 2216, the two parties backed international and regional efforts to find a comprehensive political solution for Yemen.
At the conclusion of the visit, Tokayev extended an invitation to King Salman to attend the sixth Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia, which will take place on October 12 and 13 in the Kazakh capital Nur-Sultan, as well as the seventh Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, which will take place on September 14 and 15 this year. Tokayev received gratitude from King Salman for the invitations.
