The Arab Parliament calls for a unified strategy to confront Iran.
The Arab Parliament called for Arab solidarity and the development of a unified strategy to counter Iranian interference in the region. The Arab Parliament President, Dr. Meshaal bin Fahim Al-Salami, in a speech, at Ain Shams University, stressed that the Arab Parliament’s vision of the concept of Arab solidarity is to unify the positions of Arab countries towards the challenges and risks they face, with the aim of fortifying Arab societies and strengthening Arab Arab relations and facing serious challenges It targets the security and safety of the Arab world.
Al-Salami called for the development of a “unified Arab strategy to deal with the geographical neighboring countries, and to confront Iran’s negative interference in the internal affairs of Arab countries.”
In another context, Al-Salami affirmed that the Arab Parliament is “keen on setting plans to resolve crises in some Arab countries that suffer from the conflict and need urgent action, moving them from a state of conflict to a state of stability, and addressing attempts to weaken Arab countries, and support Arab Arab reconciliations and clear the air. From congestion, and to support Arab mediation initiatives to resolve existing conflicts in Arab countries. “
He considered that “Arab solidarity is the cornerstone and the best way to face challenges and meet the requirements of the current stage for all Arab countries, in order to preserve their security, stability and unity and achieve their renaissance and progress, in light of the grave challenges that live on them, especially the grinding economic crises, and employing sectarianism and the formation and care of militias within countries in order to weaken it and fragment the unity of its societies. “
The Arab Parliament speaker reiterated his solidarity with Bahrain against Iranian interference in its internal affairs. He also condemned the “aggressive visit” of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards commander to the occupied Emirati Abu Musa island, and denounced his “provocative and irresponsible statements regarding the Emirati islands.”
