Boeing, Google and Microsoft donate millions for Donald Trump inauguration
The US President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration, marking the beginning of his second term in the office, is set to take place on January 20. Boeing is donating $1 million to an inauguration fund for Trump. Numerous other firms are making similar announcements.
Google and Microsoft are also contributing to the fund, joining a long list of companies making similar donations. The list also includes Meta and Uber. Boeing is currently trying to address a safety and quality control crisis, and losses from a strike last year.
Boeing highlighted in a statement that it is pleased to continue the company’s bipartisan tradition of supporting US Presidential Inaugural Committees. It has made similar donations to each of the past three presidential inauguration funds.
