Importance of the nuclear deal between Iran and the United States
Iran–For over a year, the United States has been looking to restore the nuclear pact with Iran but many still fail to understand the recent behind Biden administration’s continuous efforts towards the Arab nation.
The pact was first signed in 2015 under the leadership of the president Barack Obama. This was considered as one of the biggest diplomatic achievements of the former US president. It was in 2018 when Donald Trump ended or rather backed out of the deal.
This withdrawal by Trump was considered as the biggest failure from America’s end when it comes to foreign policy. In fact, it was during Trumps’ term when the foriegn relations of the United States were at their lowest stage.

As current US president Joe Biden resumed his office, attempts at restoring the deal were being made. The deal ensures that Iran’s civilian nuclear program could not develop weapons-grade uranium. This is why it was important for the US and other countries to keep Iran’s activities in check and control the situation in the Middle east.
However, as much as the US is pestering Iran to return to the deal, the Arab nation is increasing the list of demands hampering the whole process. Many experts believe that despite some of the positive developments, they have gone back to square one with their respective measures.
