The rise in the number of Saudi universities in the Shanghai Ranking, according to Raed Al-Hamdani, general supervisor at Positive Interaction for Training and Consulting, is a clear indication that the state’s support for education at all levels is progressing favorably and qualitatively, in line with Vision 2030.
Al-Hamdani advised academic and professional institutions, as well as universities, to improve their performance by preparing their staff to keep up with the most recent advances on a worldwide scale.
He stressed the significance of strong governance and regulation, the creation of key performance indicators, and the subsequent monitoring and evaluation of these as essential components required for the growth and continuity of organizations, regardless of size.
The lack of strategy clarity and the organization’s overall direction, according to Sultan Alsharif, chairman of Outstanding Performance Management Co., are the main issues.
According to Alsharif, a leadership crisis that combines the strategic dimension and the ability to oversee the execution is one of the problems that businesses trying to improve their performance must deal with. For firms looking to grow and establish their existence, the absence of an organizational culture concept is a significant barrier.
According to AlSharif, one of the biggest problems facing organizations is a lack of change management, highlighting the significance of the human element in those organizations.
